The Voice of the Lord by Mahesh and Bonnie Chavda

From Amarylis: I Declare Jesus Christ Is Lord!

Amarylis: I testify that if you have too much Word of God, when you are grounded in the Word of God, sooner or later you will hear the voice behind the Word. You will hear the voice and that voice will lead you to success. That voice will tell you secrets. That voice will test you whether you can be trusted. A few days ago, I was working, then suddenly I heard” make a pan cake for your children. ” it has been a long time I didn’t cook a pan cake. I had so many work, time seemed short. I didn’t feel making a pan cake and I didn’t want too. I asked ” Do you really want me to make a pan cake” The voice answered ” Yes”. It didn’t make sense I was tired and I didn’t feel making a pan cake. But I learned ,you have to do it. His voice is the final authority . So I went to the cabinet and looked to the ingredients. Gee, I had only an egg, plain flour, bi- carbonate, sugar and there was no vanilla and self raising flour. Now the more I didn’t want to make pan cake. I don’t like without vanilla essence. So I just removed the plain flour and put it on top of the table. I worked telling my spirit after “I worked first and then make the pan cake.” That was three o’ clock . Then after I finished the work, I said ” I will rest first” then I forgot about it. Me and my family eat our dinner. Then while I sat down, I remembered the pan cake, now that was already somewhere 7:30 pm. I didn’t want to make a pan cake really, I was full already. I said,” Do you really want me to make a pan cake.” I heard in my spirit. ” Yes! Make a pan cake” I said,” Is That you Lord? ” He answered ,” Yes” it didn’t make sense, I didn’t want to make a pan cake, my stomach was full, it was late already , the dinner was finished, I was tired. But I went to the kitchen and cook the pan cake. I was just thinking, I didn’t know whether it tasted nice, just please The Lord. The first pan cake I cooked, I tasted, It was nice. I was pleased. Then in the middle of my cooking , I heard the voice,” that is not pan cake. That is crepe.” I said feeling tired, ” well just make than into a pan cake.” Then silent. The last crepe on the pan , I heard The Lord ‘s voice,” Well done faithful servant!” Goodness me, I was so glad no matter how tired I was I did it. Then I heard him” I was just testing you, the future I prepared for you needs a huge responsibility.”

The voice of The Lord by glorynomic….
The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders; the Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon. He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox. The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire.Psalm 29:3-7

Did you know that in the Hebrew tradition, the 10 Commandments are known as the 10 words? It only took 10 words from the glory to give Moses the 10 sayings that would undergird the 613 laws for living in harmony with God’s presence. Imagine for a moment. Moses there in the midst of the the thunderings, lightenings, beholding the glory face to face. God need only speak a word: “I AM the Lord your God.” And as that word surrounded Moses, every cell in his body, every thought in his mind, every part of his soul would begin to sing the song of “I AM.” He would marinate in that sound, and He would KNOW I AM. When Moses came down, He was changed. He carried the 10 words, and they became the bank from which he knew how to lead God’s people into holiness. How to instruct them to live as God’s special people defined by I AM and His glory.

This is how God’s word is for you. One word is the doorway to revelation. It is not head knowledge, but the KNOWING, BEING, BECOMING that comes when you step into the vibration of His voice. It doesn’t go into a filing drawer in your brain, it changes the way you think. It changes the way you see. It transforms you to have faith eyes, glory vision, and a heart that beats in time with God’s. His Word is a Person, and the more you behold Him, the more you become like Him, from glory to glory.

The Hidden Power of the Blood Of Jesus by Mahesh Chavda

From Amarylis: I Declare Jesus Christ Is Lord!

Amarylis: This article has lots of pages to read. Mahesh Chavda is one of my best writer. I posted a few of his articles. This article is about the hidden power of the blood of Jesus . He went to Africa , thousands of people gathered and lots and lots of sorcerers attended his huge meeting. The power of the blood of Jesus and the Name of Jesus defeated the dark power of this sorcerers. This articles will surely bless you more than enough and you will learn to cast out devils. So read, you don’t know the future, your decent pleasant friend might be a sorcerer. My ex-close friend from South America looked decent with a touched of class, very formal and harmless , she turned out to be a witch with a very strong dark power within her. It was my second greatest fight, a fierce battle. Worse her house was just next to our home divided by a fence. At the end, she raised her white little flag at the fence where I passed by. After a several months, a thief stole all her expensive jewelries. That means her power was destroyed. The power that destroyed her dark power was the blood of Jesus and the Name of Jesus.

Avoiding Envy by exavierpope

From Amarylis : I Declare Jesus Christ Is Lord,

Amarylis : Envy and Jealousy is very dangerous, it can poison , destroy and kill a person. My family back home are very private people but our neighbours would target my family with all the gossips, and most of the times gossips hurt. My family might not be mixing but people saw and observed what was going on. A few years ago, I went to visit my family. My brother got a few cows , the kitchen was so busy. I was in the corner standing and saw a person looking outside the fence observing like a detective. My late godmother used to sneak and observed ended to bewitch me. My cousin went to so many forms of witchcraft to destroy me due to envy. Instead of good neighbours it became the best enemy because of jealousy and envy. We want to share and love but ,Instead of helping and supporting , it became scheming to destroy the person and their business. Behind the smiles and friendly face is an evil motives. I believe you met these kind of people. They look harmless but it can destroy you. I read the story of Sidney Sheldon,” If Tomorrow Comes”, it might just a novel to entertain the reader but the story bears truth. The world is full of deception, it can cost your joy, peace, wealth and your life. We need Jesus. We need His Word.

Galatians 5:19. The flesh is a mindset that does not line up with the Word of God. 1 Peter 2:1. Envy is dangerous and should be set aside.

Envy will stop the blessing. Acts 13:44. Jews were jealous more people came to hear the Word of God. They also spoke against Paul contradicting and blaspheming him. Anytime people envy me they are going contradict me and speak against me.

Romans 13:13. Paul says don’t walk in envy, it causes strife.

1 Corinthians 3:3. Paul says Christians who act as the world (or carnal), will be conformed of this world. (see KJV and AMP version). AMP version says we act like unchanged people because we allow envy and strife to beset us. It is still happening in the church.

James 3:14-16. Evil and foul practice comes from envy.

There should a be a distinction between those who have the blessing working those who do not.

Genesis 26:26-27. When the blessing is on me others can see it. Genesis 26:29. Abimelech asked Isaac not to harm them because they knew those that are blessed could curse them. Then they praised Isaac, those that once cursed him. Those that envy us for our blessing will eventually praise us.

Pray justice of injustice in my life. Declare justice!. Isaiah 61:7-9. For our shame on injustice we shall be increased double. All will see we are the blessed of the LORD and will recognize me as such. People who lied against me, cause me injustice will cry out I am blessed. 61:10-11. Because of such I will rejoice in the LORD’s salvation! In the body of Christ I won’t be confused (like the world), but praising! So while the world is depressed, I’ll be blessed and expressing joy. So that is why I will not allow envy to have place in my life.

I will speak against envy and rejoice those who have good things!

BAD SOIL by PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE

From Amarylis: I Declare Jesus Christ Is Lord!

Amarylis : a few years ago, I had a huge sony television, very nice picture, a very good quality one. I decided to buy a high definition one, so I was aiming to sow my old nice tv to a person. The Lord told never to sow to my next neighbour . My neighbour arrived from her holiday, her tv was not working anymore. She asked my old tv, but I said no. But when she told me that she fall from a motorcycle and hurt her leg, and while she was vomiting her false teeth fall down in the toilet, my heart was touched. So I told her to come to my place, so that we could removed the tv and brought to her place. When we were pushing the huge tv with the tv cabinet roller to her door. She started lashing me with curses left and right. Immediately , I remembered The Lord told me not to give it to her. I was so sad very sad. I couldn’t removed it from her because we were at her door already . That was a bad soil. For a few years and now, she was and is enjoying the tv I gave it to her and this woman not contented of cursing me, she resorted to witchcraft me. It was just pure jealousy because she saw that The Lord bless me more and more. There are people like that here in this world.

Memory Verse: And when he sowed, some seeds
fell by the way side, and the fowls came and
devoured them up:Matthew 13:4
Read: Matthew 13:3-8
3 And he spake many things unto them in
parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to
sow;
4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way
side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not
much earth: and forthwith they sprung up,
because they had no deepness of earth:
6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched;
and because they had no root, they withered
away.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns
sprung up, and choked them:
8 But other fell into good ground, and brought
forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold,
some thirtyfold.
Message
For your request to be granted, you have to apply
relevant keys. Many people desire financial
breakthrough but are not prepared to apply the
right key; unsurprisingly the door just won’t open.
2 Corinthians 9:6 says you must sow bountifully
and if you don’t sow, do not expect a harvest. Do
you know some people are expecting a harvest
when they have not sowed? For such people, their
harvest will come as a big bang that will attract
people but it will have nothing in it. What a shame
that will be! But that will not be your portion.
However, it is not enough to sow; you must
adhere to all the conditions necessary for a good
harvest. For instance, in the parable of the sower
documented in Matthew 13:3-8, seeds must be
sown on good soil. Any seed sown on bad soil has
automatically been lost and the harvest lost. What
is a bad soil? A bad soil is a soil that God does
not want you to sow into at that material time, no
matter how logical or pressing the need is. If God
says you should not give to a particular individual
and you disobey thinking you know more than
God, or you know how much the fellow is in need,
you have acted in disobedience and lost both seed
and harvest. If care is not taken, you may even
get punished.
A bad soil is also one that glorifies Satan openly
or secretly while claiming to be a godly
organisation. Any church, ministry or ‘servant of
God’ that uses a contrary spirit or still offers
sacrifices, dialogues with spirits of the dead or
indulges in any occultic activity is a bad soil.
Sowing there is sowing directly into Satan’s
kingdom. A bad soil is equally sowing into a
cause that will increase the flamboyance, empty
pride and sinful life-style of its recipient. If a
particular man of God is calling for donations over
which he may not account for, or which will
enable him sustain a riotous life-style – ride the
biggest cars, live in the most expensive mansions,
or live in sin, such seeds are lost. Ask to be led of
God before you sow in causes that are not clear to
you, lest you waste your seed and lose your
harvest.

Generational Curse ( I forgot the writer’s name)

From Amarylis: I declare Jesus Christ Is Lord!

Amarylis : it is important that you know about what is generational curse. You can stop it by declaring using the Name of Jesus. This articles shows the difference between a blessed generations to a curse generations. This article been posted for the second time in this blog.

Prosperity Defined by DAVID CERULLO

From Amarylis : I Declare Jesus Christ Is Lord!

Amarylis : I encourage you to know about what is really Prosperity in God’s way. It is not only about money or material but more and more than just enough.

Does God want to bless you with prosperity and abundance? Of course He does! What father would want his children to live in poverty and suffer lack? The pages of Scripture are full of references to God as your loving Heavenly Father who wants to give you His best—everything you could ever need.

If you are willing to “ask,” “seek,” and “knock,” Jesus promises that your Father will gladly respond:

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! (Matthew 7:7-11)

There are hundreds of similar Biblical promises about God’s desire to bless and prosper His children when we walk in a Covenant Relationship with Him. Yet a fierce battle is raging today over the Bible’s teachings about prosperity. Many well-meaning Christians have accepted the lie that God takes pleasure in giving them hardships and financial lack instead of blessing and abundance.

How sad this is! When told about God’s desire to bless and prosper them, these misinformed folks say, “I believe that God chooses some people to abound and others to suffer lack—so none of us has a right to expect His blessings.” Humble as that may sound, it is completely contrary to the teachings of God’s Word!

Misunderstanding the Message
Much of the confusion about prosperity and abundance stems from a failure to properly define them from a Biblical perspective. Critics often wrongly assume that advocates of the “prosperity message” are focused only on material blessings. “It’s all about believing God for a big house or a Mercedes,” they complain.

However, although God’s prosperity certainly includes financial blessings, that is only a small part of what the abundant life is all about. In addition to providing His children with material abundance, the Lord wants to bless us with good health…strong relationships…peace of mind…victory over addictions…and an intimate relationship with Him.

God wants to bless us in every possible way: in our spirit, soul, and body…in our finances, marriages, children, health, and spiritual lives. The apostle John describes this kind of all-inclusive prosperity like this:

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (3 John 2).

Do you see the amazing scope of the prosperity God desires for His children? His plan is not just to prosper us in some things, or just spiritual things: He wants us to “prosper in ALL things”!

This lines up perfectly with the powerful Hebrew and Greek words used in the Bible to describe God’s blessings:

Blessing (Hebrew barak) – “To bestow good upon.” This word is used a remarkable 330 times in the Bible!
Peace (Hebrew shalom) – “To be made whole, healthy, happy, prosperous, and at peace.”
Salvation (Greek sozo) – “To be saved, delivered, healed, restored, or kept safe.” Like the Hebrew word shalom, the Greek word sozo speaks of God’s desire not only to give us salvation in Heaven when we die, but also to bring restoration to every area of our lives today.
Prosper (Greek euodoō) – “To help on one’s way, act wisely, and be successful and wealthy.” Biblical prosperity stems from receiving God’s wisdom and obeying His instructions on your journey. He promises that when you meditate on His Word and obey it, “you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (Joshua 1:8).
Based on these potent words describing the majestic scope of God’s prosperity, it’s clear that the abundant life (John 10:10) includes much more than material wealth. If critics would recognize the totality of God’s desire to bless us, it would be much more difficult for them to reject the prosperity message as being unbalanced, self-serving, or materialistic.

The prosperity message is actually just an extension of what the Bible says about the loving nature of our Heavenly Father. One of His core traits is that He’s a GIVER, as we’re told in John 3:16 and a multitude of other verses.

The Land of “More Than Enough”
The first thing God did after creating Adam and Eve was to BLESS them! (Genesis 1:27-38) There were so many other ways He could have begun His relationship with humankind, but He chose to bless them, placing them in a beautiful garden where they had no lack.

Adam and Eve were placed in the land of “More Than Enough,” and that continues to be God’s intention for His people. But instead of such a life, many Believers are living in the land of “Just Enough” or “Not Enough.” Because of ignorance, unbelief, or disobedience, they forfeit God’s intended blessings and live below their inheritance in Christ.

If you are continually living with “Just Enough” or “Not Enough,” I have good news for you today: Your Heavenly Father loves you, and He wants to bring you into a land of overflowing abundance. He wants to overwhelmingly bless you, so you can, in turn, be a great blessing to others.

What does it look like to go from lack to abundance? In Matthew 14:14-21, the disciples had “Not Enough” to feed the thousands of hungry people who had come to hear Jesus teach. But after they brought their five loaves and two fish to Jesus, a miracle happened: Everyone had plenty to eat, and they ended up with 12 full baskets of leftovers!

Within mere moments, Jesus’ disciples went from a place of lack to an experience of “More Than Enough.” And the same can happen for you…if you put your life and your resources into the hands of Jesus.

Believe and Receive!
If you don’t believe in God’s prosperity, it’s unlikely you will receive His prosperity. Why? Because faith is an indispensable key to receiving the promises of God.

Jesus said, “It shall be done to you according to your faith” (Matthew 9:29). What an incredible principle! If you believe God will prosper you, He will. But if you don’t believe He will prosper you, He won’t! Either way, He will honor your faith!

The story is told of a man during the Great Depression who lost his job and became homeless. Living on a street corner, he begged every day from those who passed by, hoping for enough spare change to buy a meal.

One day a wealthy man passed by and took pity on the homeless man. He stopped and wrote a large check, telling the man, “Here, this will help.”

However, the homeless man looked at the check in disbelief, unable to believe that a total stranger would give him so much money. He put the check in his pocket and continued to beg, not comprehending how rich he had become.

My friend, like the homeless man in this story, in Christ you’ve become richer than you can even imagine. You don’t have to keep begging, looking to the government or other people to meet your needs. God’s Word says He’s given you a huge check—with your name on it!

Friend, I pray today that you will see God’s amazing love for you. May your life overflow with such abundance that countless others are impacted, both in this life and in eternity.

God bless you,

Confessions Strength (verses) by Whatchristianwanttoknow.org

From Amarylis:I Declare Jesus ChristIs Lord!

Amarylis: I confess this everyday because I need a supernatural strength . It works.

Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
1 Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!
Exodus 15:2 The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Psalm 18:32-34 the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless. He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
Psalm 119:23 Even though princes sit plotting against me, your servant will meditate on your statutes.
Examples of Showing Strength in the Bible
The following Bible verses on being strong show us biblical examples of strength and the faith it takes to trust in God so completely that He is your strength. Imagine how much faith it took for Abraham to be willing to sacrifice his long awaited son Isaac.
David
1 Samuel 30:6 And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because all the people were bitter in soul, each for his sons and daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.
Paul
2 Timothy 4:17 But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.
Peter
1 Peter 4:11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Joshua
Joshua 1:9-11 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”And Joshua commanded the officers of the people, “Pass through the midst of the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your provisions, for within three days you are to pass over this Jordan to go in to take possession of the land that the LORD your God is giving you to possess.’”
Abraham
Genesis 22:1-3 After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here am I.” He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and his son Isaac. And he cut the wood for the burnt offering and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.
Bible Verses Showing Strength Comes From Faith Not From Fear
Are you struggling through a situation today and are grasping for answers? How should you respond? Respond with faith and not fear, knowing the promises of God and His mighty hand will hold you through any situation!
Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Matthew 17:20 He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Mark 10:52 And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.
Matthew 21:21 And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith anddo not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.
Bible Scripture Quotes About Strength as Related to Courage
Jesus has truly overcome the world the day he gave His life for all on the cross. Take peace and be encouraged knowing it is Him who is mighty to save. He will not leave you or forsake you.
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Strength Bible Verses- Because of the Hope and Love we have In Jesus Christ
Do not lose heart or become discouraged as we have the Hope of Jesus Christ and eternal life to carry us through. Stay in the Bible and pray continually seeking the face of God and He will be with you. I pray these Bible verses fill your heart with hope from the truth of God’s mighty word.
Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
2 Timothy 1:7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
Job 13:15 Though he slay me, I will hope in him; yet I will argue my ways to his face.
Romans 5:5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
Christian Quote About Strength
“Those who serve God must serve Him in His own way, and in His strength, or He will never accept their service. That which man doth, unaided by divine strength, God can never own. The mere fruits of the earth He casteth away; He will only reap that corn, the seed of which was sown from heaven, watered by grace, and ripened by the sun of divine love. God will empty out all that thou hast before He will put His own into thee; He will first clean out thy granaries before He will fill them with the finest of the wheat. The river of God is full of water; but not one drop of it flows from earthly springs. God will have no strength used in His battles but the strength which He Himself imparts. Are you mourning over your own weakness? Take courage, for there must be a consciousness of weakness before the Lord will give thee victory. Your emptiness is but the preparation for your being filled, and your casting down is but the making ready for your lifting up.” – Charles Spurgeon

Being Humble: Why it’s Important to God by INSPIRATION MINISTRIES

From Amarylis: I Declare Jesus Christ Is Lord!

Amarylis: I met a lot of proud people, very proud. In my point of view, proud is how a person talk and how he look to the other person. They say without compassion and understanding to the other person. They talk like a mighty person , as if they had not experience hardship. I had experienced being put down by lots of proud people and it hurts. All I could say ” Never mind.” With tears in my eyes. So by the time I became confident and very independent , and had been through many bad situations and came out victorious. I learned to be careful what I say to those who are still struggling. I choose words that elevate them. I respect people who the proud does not respect. My heart goes to the person who is hurting because I had been there. I am always ready to help because I used to be helpless. But God doesn’t like proud people. He exalt the humble one. God knows who is the humble one because He looks to the heart of the person. So many times , many who used to be the top , the next season, they were down. It is very slow, most of the time it doesn’t happen overnight. I had a friend who talked very high, after so many years she lost her marriage, her children and her beautiful home and cash. Now she has to work double time to pay the mortgage . Her talk now is full of struggles. Now she doesn’t like me because By the grace of God I am doing well. Being humble is what God favors.

We know that Jesus died for our sins and our human faults. This was done to reestablish our relationship with God. But there’s an important step each of us must still take to access the mercy and grace that His death affords us.

That step is to practice humility. Scripture says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6).

But what does it mean to be humble?

To be humble is to realize how weak we are; how helpless we are to change the course of our lives in our own power. It’s to ask God for His forgiveness and to trust Him for His guidance. That’s what He wants to see abiding in our hearts.

He wants us to realize and confess our helplessness, our sinfulness, and our complete need for Him in our lives; and we can do exactly that, regardless of the depth of the flaw, since we know God will never reject those who come to Him with a humble spirit:

“The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit” (Psalm 34:18).

Even if we believe we’re being humble, it’s often difficult in our current society to show as much humility as the Lord would like. Culturally, we’ve moved further away from God’s ways and instead placed focus on the world’s ways. Humility is not seen as a positive trait—it’s seen as a weakness—and in a lot of cases, humility is seen as a flaw that should be avoided at all costs.

Just think about your own social or professional life. How often do you hear someone around you admit they were wrong or made a mistake? When was the last time you admitted such things?

These days, people are afraid to admit wrong or unveil a weakness, and instead let themselves move to a position of pride. Once there, it’s easier to lie, make excuses, or ignore personal issues rather than face them in humility. And in God’s plan, pride becomes an obstacle that halts His mercy.

Removing Pride as an Obstacle
To put pride aside and receive God’s full blessings, we must come to God through Jesus, confess our need and weakness, and ask Christ to cleanse and receive us. We must ask Jesus to take control of our lives and guide us every step of the way.

It’s then that pride will be put aside and the doors opened to receive His full blessings. Remember this passage as you turn your back on your old ways:

“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon” (Isaiah 55:7).

Even if you’ve already confessed your weaknesses and asked Christ to receive you, doing it is not a one-time thing. It’s ongoing, and should be a part of your daily prayer life.

If you’ve never acknowledged that you’re a sinner, confessed your sins, repented for your sins, and declared your belief that Jesus is God’s Son who died to save you, use the link below to pray for Him to come into your life.

The God of Increase Written By Ione Kinzel

From Amarylis : I declare Jesus Christ Is Lord!

I would like to testify how God would increase a person who obey and faithful to Him. I will base this story to my experience.

I am a person who like simplicity. I don’t like to many things to do, I don’t like to think about how to increase money because that is too much for me and I get stress out, just by thinking about money. In other words, I am small minded with it comes to increase. That means I have only one basket.

So when I focus in copying others how they please God, I never thought that at the same time it would change my finances. The more I copied the more I came to know our God, the more I know Him, the more my heart change. The more my heart change the more I am grateful to Him. The more I am grateful to Him, the more I obey Him and very faithful to little things , then to big things.

Suddenly, gee to all my experience, I found out that our God is the God of Suddenly. My friend introduced me to open another account in the same bank. The bank would removed money from my original savings accounts. I started with little. After one year, I saw the little money they put, it total at the end of the year bigger. So I increase the money they will take it from my saving, I kept increasing, I was so excited without expecting it just grew and grew. Then long time ago, I heard inside in me, why don’t you open another bank. So I opened. I heard, Why don’t you put a term deposit. So I put. Then The Lord used bank tellers to put me to different products. Never knew that their products was another increased until I received statements of accounts. Looking back and now from one basket to different kinds of baskets.

Another kind of increase. I had experienced a few times , when I count my money, I would heard count it again, then count again, every time Count it increases. Then many times, I count my money to deposit to the bank and put it in the envelope, the moment I put it in the hands of the tellers, the tellers would correct me that there were extras either 100 hundred or fifty dollars .

Last night, I divided my money to put in different baskets. So one particular bank, they got ATM inside their office. So in that envelope there is only one hundred . So I put one piece of fifty to the slot, then another fifty. I found out that there is another fifty. In my natural mind, maybe just a mistake in counting. But The Lord corrected me, I heard a voice inside in me outside in the bank . ” that is my increase for you.”

Everytime I shop, God always provides money even in my natural thinking, I got limited in my budget. All I knew everytime I went home I brought so much stuff and groceries.

The Lord will look after our banks , our job, our health, our possession when we focus Him. We will not serve others gods, only Him.

Is Masturbation A Sin? A Biblical Study by JACK WELLMAN

From Amarylis: I Declare Jesus Christ Is Lord!

The Bible is silent on whether or not masturbation is sin. What verses can we turn to in trying to determine if this is sin or not?

Sexual Immorality Starts in the Mind

James gives us insight into how sin starts. Sin begins with temptation as we read in 1:13-15 “Let no one say when he is tempted, ‘I am being tempted by God,’ for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.” Notice that James says we are tempted by our own desires. When we hold on to this desire it gives birth to sin and sin that is un-repented of leads to eternal death. Temptation itself is not a sin because Jesus was tempted by the Devil in the wilderness but Jesus resisted the Devil by quoting Scripture. Satan twisted the Scriptures and took them out of context but Jesus rightly divided the Word of God and the sword of the Spirit, the Word. The Word of God is powerful when fighting demonic weapons. When we give into temptation and don’t resist the Devil by fleeing from him, then it becomes full blown sin.

Put to death…what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
You are not alone because Paul wrote that “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13). That is a great promise from God that we are not helpless victims of our own lusts of the flesh. We can resist sexual immorality in our minds as we will later read.

Lusting is Sin

Jesus said “that everyone who looks at a woman [or a man] with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her [or him] in his [or her] heart” (Matt 5:28). This means that we can commit sexual immorality in our minds and that God sees it as being the same thing as the physical act of adultery. When we lust after a man or woman in our minds, then we are essentially committing adultery (if we are married) or fornication (if we are single). Even if no one knows about it, God knows about it and so do we. Our conscience condemns us if we have the Holy Spirit (Romans 2:1-3). Just as thinking sexual thoughts about someone other than your spouse is sexual immorality, so too is hating someone likened to committing murder in the heart (Matthew 5:21-23). There is only one thing that you can do when lustful thoughts come to your mind. Pray, recall some memory Bible verses, and when this temptation comes “Submit yourselves…to God [so that you can] resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).

Masturbation is Sexual Immorality of the Mind

Paul gives believers an imperative command by saying that “sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints [and that] there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking” either (Ephesians 5:3-4). Even if we commit the act of adultery in our mind, it doesn’t make it an innocent act. Not the way God sees it. In fact Paul asks the Corinthians “Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, ‘The two will become one flesh’” (1 Corinthians 6:15-16). That shocks most unbelievers. When a person is joined together with another outside of the bounds of marriage, the two become one and the same. You can essentially be joined together as one with a male or female prostitute because it is written “the two will become one flesh” and who wants to be one and the same with a female or male prostitute? Our bodies, being members of Christ, include our minds and because our minds are very much part of our body, when our minds commit adultery, it is the same as our bodies doing it.

Conclusion

From all the verses we have read we can clearly see that sexual immorality, certainly the physical act, but even the mental act, is the same as adultery. This includes those who are married and those who are single. Therefore, from the context of these Scriptures, we can see that masturbation is committing sexual immorality in the mind and if in the mind, it is the same as with the body (Matthew 5: 28). The Bible clearly warns us that you are to “Put to death…what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming” (Colossians 3:5-6).

My advice to you, whether single or married, is to “Flee from sexual immorality [because] every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body” (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). The final destination of the sexually immoral is the lake of fire (Revelation 21:8). Don’t let that be your end. If you have a problem with sexual temptation, learn to memorize Scripture, fall on your knees in prayer during temptations, make a covenant with your eyes to not look upon men or women who are not your spouse, and flee temptation when it comes. It will not end well for those who do not resist sexual immorality. Let not this proverb be about you: “So you will be delivered from the forbidden woman, from the adulteress with her smooth words, who forsakes the companion of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God; for her house sinks down to death, and her paths to the departed; none who go to her come back, nor do they regain the paths of life” (Proverbs 2:16-19).
